While setting up the website, I went through my watercolors to select a few for the site. In doing so, I realized that I hadn’t painted in a long time, having focused exclusively on music. Should I take up painting again? Painting is a completely different process from creating music; it has a much more meditative quality. ……….or does it?
Perhaps it makes no difference at all which medium I use to express myself? Looking back, I see that I have always been interested in many things at once. I never developed a passion (did I suffer? …odd word) for just one thing; I always had too many irons in the fire. The result was that I never became an expert in any one area! Should I have done things differently? I couldn’t have—otherwise, I wouldn’t have been me!
